Zoe Yadira Saldana Nazario aka Zoe Saldana is an American actress who was born on 19th June in the year 1978. Previously, she used to work in a theatre group named Faces. Then she was seen in Law & Order Episode 1999. After that, she did her first film name Center Stage released in 2000, a year later. In this movie, she was given the role of a ballet dancer. Since then her film career had started.

She has been working in a number of science fiction movies. In 2009, she had her first of the multiple appearances in the Star Trek film series as she was playing the role of Nyota Uhura.
